７月１日に、当社の第67期が始まりました。

ちょうどこの日、本社の蘭も１つ目の花を開きました。

新年度を迎えるにあたり、12人の社員について昇格や異動、役職の変更がありました。

人事は、会社からの感謝や期待の表れです。

この人たちを含め、従業員の皆さん全員に感謝を伝えたいです。

Shimozuma LPG Corporation  started its 67^th year on the 1^stJuly. Just on the day, the first flower of orchids in our head office came out.

At the beginning of our new fiscal year, 12 workers were promoted or changed their workplaces or positions. Such is a way of a company to show appreciation or expectation for employees. I would like to say thank you to not only these twelve  but all my people.   

「ありがたい」は、有るのが難しいと書きます。

会社をやめる時はそれぞれの理由がありますが、それが何であれ、

その人はかけがえのない存在だった、そう感じるのです。

Japanese  ‶ arigatai “, which is used to show appreciation, means ‶difficult to get  or have” literally. When a worker quit a company, each has his/her own reason. No matter what it is, I feel that his/her contribution was precious.      

私は、人と人として、会社で働く皆さんときちんと関わりたいと思っています。

だから、私は皆さんを「さん」付けでよびます。

65才でも18才でも、女性でも男性でも、正社員でもアルバイトさんでも。

I would like to involve myself with my workers by respecting their own course or stage of life. That is why I call their names adding ‶san,” regardless of their age, gender, or position in the company.    

堅苦しいと思うかもしれません。

しかし人としてお互いを尊重しつつ、会社での立場に応じて仕事を分担するのが良いと思うのです。

Some may think it formal. But, in my opinion, we had better respect each other as an individual while we play organizational roles.
