今年の元旦も秩父へ行きました。

早朝は東の空に雲がかかり、初日の出はゆっくりとしたお目見え。

ラジオ番組のDJ　別所哲也さんいわく、

「今年の太陽は恥ずかしがり屋さん」。

セルフ秩父で年越し勤務の島崎さん、元旦出勤の高野さんにあいさつ。

電話でセルフ並木の木田さん、水町さん、そして三峰神社泊の木村さん、菊池さんと言葉を交わしました。

深谷へ戻ると、瀧ノ宮神社はすでににぎやか。

入って最初の鳥居まで、列が伸びていました。

参拝し破魔矢を買って、本社の神棚へ。

良い年にしていこう。

I went to Chichibu again this New Year’s Day.

Early in the morning, clouds covered the eastern sky, and the first sunrise of the year appeared slowly.

Radio program DJ Bessho Tetsuya commented,

“This year’s sun is a bit shy.”

I greeted Mr. Shimazaki, who was on duty over the New Year at Self Chichibu, and Mr. Kohno, who came to work on New Year’s Day.

I also spoke by phone with Mr. Kida and Mr. Mizumachi at Self Namiki, as well as Mr. Kimura and Mr. Kikuchi, who were staying overnight at Mitsumine Shrine.

When I returned to Fukaya, Takinomiya Shrine was already lively.

A long line stretched all the way to the first torii gate.

After offering my prayers and buying a hamaya (ritual arrow), I placed it at the company’s Shinto altar.

Let’s make this a good year.
